Calcasieu River Bridge Pistols- one of the most iconic symbols for residents and visitors of Southwest Louisiana. The crossed derringer railing designed in 1948 pays homage to Southwest Louisiana’s legend of Jean Lafitte. 

Own a legendary piece of Louisiana’s swashbuckling past with these Cast Flintlock Pistols, originally displayed on the historic Interstate 10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles. Modeled after the pistols of infamous pirate Jean Lafitte, these castings line the bridge as a tribute to Louisiana’s colorful maritime history and its ties to Lafitte’s legacy.
