Commonly found in Louisiana costal marshes, mudflats, and lagoons during the Spring and Summer months, the Roseate Spoonbill is quite the fashionista. Sporting bright pink plumage caused by their unique diet of crustaceans and other aquatic invertebrates. 
Spoonbills are actually part of the same family as Ibises and their relatives can be found on almost every continent!
