A friend of Candice’s found a heart shaped potato and couldn’t help but appreciate it’s uniqueness. 

In order to make it last forever, Candice created a cast of it and mounted it to a piece of Louisiana Cypress, using rusted nails salvaged from a building built in 1840. 

This piece has inspired Candice to start a Valentine’s Day Collection for years to come in which she will cast unique heart shaped objects that she finds.
