Ive been truly inspired by the beauty in Louisiana lately, especially witnessing the colors of the leaves as fall approached.   Recently I took a tour of Lake Martin.   I grew up near a swampy bayou and figured I had seen enough swamps.  However, I did not realize just how beautiful Lake Martin (Breaux Bridge area) really was until I went in person.   The alligators and birds and turtles seem such at harmony and the moss almost reminds me of lace.   If you have not been, go check it out.  Pictures do not do it justice, but in this new painting- Ive attempted to capture what I saw.
