1910 Lake Charles Burn Map by Trent Gremillion
Sarcoma Awareness Month kicks off July 1st!!
Recently, a dear friend who is a sarcoma survivor of 10 years asked me to create an engraving of a map created by Trent Gremillion she found on a Louisiana historical site showing the Lake Charles area that burned in the fire of 1910. This area was rebuilt and she happily lives in the former burn district now. Like her home, she has rebuilt and survived adversity while marking another year cancer free.
In her honor and for ALL Sarcoma survivors, let’s raise awareness for those individuals and families affected by this cancer. Print proceeds from the sale of the 1910 Lake Charles Burn Map and the Sarcoma Awareness Fleur de lis will be donated to the Sarcoma Foundation of America. Join us in spreading hope, positivity, and love so that we can make a difference.
